We have said our mission is to bridge the gap and mend the disconnect. What does this look like?
BRIDGING THE GAP
Bridging the gap is the aspect of ministry whereby we provide a platform, in which the Christian leaders who are incarcerated can have access to resources, finances and counsel to better equip them to come alongside other believers in a discipleship process. It enables them to meet the immediate needs spiritually, and if necessary physically. For love in word only is not love at all.
Bridging the gap also allows individuals within the body of Christ to get involved; either with time, resources, communication, etc. The main goal is to equip believers with the Word of God and the tools to rightly divide the Word of Truth. The key here is discipleship, everything else is secondary.

MENDING THE DISCONNECT
Mending the disconnect goes much deeper. This is where we seek to connect godly people in our communities with godly people in prison, to the extent where upon release relationships are established, genuine relationships in Christ, bound by the Spirit. Relationships that foster accountability and develop trust, relationships that not only encourage change but walk that change out with them. This is love, this is discipleship, this is the call to all of us.
Have you ever been homeless? Threatened by violence on every side? Starving? Alone with no sense of direction? Suffered the bondage of addiction? Trafficked for sex? Hopeless? I ask because the majority of men and women who have come to Christ in prison have these, and many more, scars from sin. The reality is the majority of us in the body of Christ do not and cannot relate and choose not to try. Thus, the disconnect. The truth is we are without excuse! The time is now, the need is greater than ever before. Walk with us, as we walk with them.
